Updates to the Health Centre and patient journey

We have made a few changes to the look of the Health Centre and the way that we are asking our patients to use our building when they visit. These include

  • A queuing system as you approach the front door. One queue for the health centre and one for the pharmacy hatch. Please observe the signs which will give you instructions.
  • We ask that you do not wear gloves while in the health centre (latex or otherwise)
  • You will need to sanitise your hands at our sanitising station as you enter
  • You will be asked to enter and exit the building via the same route

You will also notice

  • Fewer chairs in the waiting areas
  • Increased number of hand sanitising facilities
  • Social distancing instructions
  • Directional footprints to help with patient flow through the building

We request that you do not arrive for any appointment early as we would like to control the number of patients within the Health Centre to help us maintain social distancing measures. 5 minutes before your appointment would be ideal.

We appreciate your co-operation with our changes to how we are operating, it is in the best interests of our patients and our staff.

We still ask that if you begin to display any symptoms of coronavirus that you do not attend the Health Centre and that you go online to the 111 website for advice.
