The health centre joined in with parkrun GP pledge day on June 1st with 7 staff members attending Banbury parkrun and 2,000 GP practice members across the country making their pledge and running 5km or volunteering at parkruns to celebrate the one year anniversary of GP parkrun pledge day.

Over 1000 GP surgeries have registered as parkrun practices, meaning they actively encourage patients to join in parkrun events whether that be as a volunteer or actually taking part in the run. Parkrun is a great way to socialise, keep fit and to become part of a group of people who regularly meet and support one another.

You can walk, skip, jog or run Parkrun, the important thing is that you do it!
